The Bonobo is currently at risk with only 100 thousand left in the Congo. The Democratic Republic of Congo has been politically unstable for the last 10 years and has made a major impact on the bonobos decline. Leopards and Loins hunt the Bonobos but their biggest predator is humans. The human population in the Congo is rising and with that more deforestation is happening. There is also more animal trafficking and killing of animals for pelts.
