As pygmies move around numerous times of year, they're shelter must be able to be created quite quickly and easily. They must first clear the undergrowth, trees, and saplings so that the a canopy is left in the trees. The canopy is able to protect the groups from the powerful sun rays and helps the harvesting of their food. Under the canopies, the groups live in small lattice formed igloos made out of saplings and tree leaves.
Pygmies often live near small villages to do trading with other families. They generally chose one family and if they're experience is good, they will continue trading meat and other products in exchange for what the villagers have to offer. Sometimes the chosen family will continue to make trades with the family generations down.
